Site Information
The site has very basic facilities: Unisex portable toilets
A hot shower cubicle is available on site
Onsite water is provided via a stand pipe.
Rubbish and recycling bins are provided
Dogs are allowed on site but must be supervised at all times and kept on a lead near livestock.
BBQs and fires in fire pits are allowed
The site is great for groups of family or friends to get together, call or email to discuss large group bookings
Food & Drink
There are general supply shops at Leigh 6 minute drive, Yetminster 12 minute drive and Maiden Newton 12 minute drive. There are Local pubs at Chetnole (The Chetnole Inn) 6 minute drive, at Evershot (Acorn Inn) 10 minutes drive and 3 pubs at Cerne Abbas 15 minutes drive
Historic Towns & Villages
The area is steeped with Historic towns and villages:
Dorchester (Roman Town House and Maiden Castle Hill fort): 20 minutes drive
Sherborne (Old Castle and Abbey): 20 minutes drive
Evershot (Thomas Hardy links): 10 minutes drive
Famous Cerne Abbas Giant: 15 minutes drive
Walking & Cycling
There is excellent walking and cycling in the area. Including the Hardy Way, (a 212 mile trail, which explores Thomas Hardy’s Wessex and visits many Hardy locations) and the Wessex Ridgeway (a long-distance route which runs 136 miles from Marlborough in Wiltshire to Lyme Regis in Dorset,
Jurassic Coast
The Jurassic Coast with fantastic beaches and seaside towns are within easy reach:
Weymouth (beach and SEA LIFE Centre): 30 minutes drive
Jurassic Coast (Bowleaze Cove): 30 minutes drive
Chesil beach: 35 minutes drive
Lulworth Cove: 45 minutes drive
Livestock
We are a working livestock farm, you will see sheep and cattle in neighbouring fields

Admission
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Arrivals and departures
Please pick any available pitch on arrival and text or call the on site number to register arrival
Please arrive between 12pm and 9pm
Please leave by 12pm on day of departure
Coronavirus
Minimum spacing of 6 metres between pitches.
Dogs
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
General
Please note that the toilet facilities are unisex.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume and turned off at 10.30pm. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
This site has unisex shower facilities.
Occupancy
No hen/stag parties permitted .
Safety
Barbecues and fire pits are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Vehicles
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
